Wow...Almost A Week.............

.................Has gone by and I haven't blogged!! Well I have been feeling a little sick this week. It started Monday with a sore throat and know that's mostly gone but I feel all congested in my head.

I missed 2 days of school this week also, so Rebekah had to double up today and tomorrow. I am also catching up with my kitchen and my laundry. Mon-Wed I was literally under the weather:(

I am sure you all noticed my blog make over. It's more like me. My candy corn header doesn't exactly fit but I liked it too much to really care. I love fall colors and there are definitely a lot of colors in my blog now:)

I am getting a little anxious about the election on Tuesday. I am just so curious who is going to win. Just my opinion but I will be a little surprised if Obama gets elected. Either way there is definitely a change coming. I am not too sure I like all this early voting stuff. I haven't been around for too many presidential elections but I don't remember early voting. I just remember everyone going down on the same day and voting. Seems like that leaves a lot of room for error.

First Slumber Party:)

I sent my girls off to thier first slumber party!! Pizza, Birthday cake, Games and Crafts!! I hope they had a wonderful time. I just had to get a picture of them as I was heading out the door.

Cell phone vs. Bible

Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we flipped through it several time a day?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to kids as gifts?

What if we used it when we traveled?

What if we used it in case of emergency?

This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible?

Oh, and one more thing.

Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill.

Makes you stop and think 'where are my priorities?

Just Another Manic Monday

Well the title is a little 80's flash back for you who remember;) No I am not endorsing 80's music!!!!

Well I have noticed it to be a little S L O W in blog world but that does not deter me from spilling my guts on here whether someone is listening or not.

I went to the dentist today so he could file down a jagged tooth and he said that my blood clots are forming nice and rather fast........I guess thats a compliment. I always follow doctors orders LoL!!

We are having the Bloom family over tonight for pizza and pop and the kids are going to take advantage of this Indian Summer and ride their bikes outside tonight. I am looking forward to the fellowship.

I will say that lately to get my kids to take a nap is almost as bad as having 3 teeth pulled. After I out them down for their nap I find myself having to back upstairs at least 3-4 times to get them to go to sleep. They just lay in their beds and talk to themselves and play. The girls already sleep in different rooms and they are not aloud to have toys in the beds. I mean they could lay there and twiddle their fingers for 2 hours instead of just closing their sleepy eyes and taking a nap. By the time nap time is over, when Nicolas wakes up, I am so exhausted from going up and down the steps so much and pleading with my kids to go to sleep that I feel like I actually need a nap!!! Any advice would be great. I do discipline them for this but I choose not to put that over the Internet for anybody to see. I am talking about if anybody has any Good "Tricks" Any help...PLEASE!!!

Ouchy Ouchy

Well I had my teeth pulled. The actual procedure only took about 15 min to pull 3 teeth. getting numb took a little longer. I wanted to make sure I was totally numb!!! Well usually when you loose teeth you put it under your pillow and the "Tooth Fairy" comes and leaves you a quarter...well the dentist kept my teeth but the tooth fairy still visited me.....his name was Jim. He took the kids out last night for about 2 hours and brought me back a dozen pink roses, a three layer candle and a huge 3 wick pumpkin spice candle!! Pumpkin Spice is my favorite candle scent.

My phone Is Here!!!! :)

Well, the title says it all. I ordered it yesterday afternoon and it is already here, not even 24 hours later. You Go Sprint!!!! Forget Chad LoL, for those of you who know Chad. I have to fully charge it before I can switch it over. They also sent me another memory card and a new charger and I ONLY have to send the phone and battery back. my protection plan has definitely paid off this time.

on a different note, I am going to go get 3 teeth pulled today. 2 of them are wisdom teeth:( Please Please pray for me. Bleeding would be minimal and so would the pain. They will give me pain meds but since I was on them for my surgery I don't think they will work as well. I will try to blog tomorrow to let you know how it went. Rebekah Thyr is here to help with the children and Lisa is taking me. It's at 2:20pm So PLEASE be praying!! Thanks!

I already got an e-mail and my phone has been shipped!!! It shipped yesterday, Monday:)

Bad News......

Well, I dropped my cell phone in the toilet Tuesday night and it is broken. I cried. I just got it like 2 months ago.

As soon as it happened we took it apart and put it under a fan for 24 hours. It does turn on and I can answer it but none of the buttons work. I can't check my calender or get any of my telephone numbers which is a bummer because ALL of my numbers are in there. I use it for this blog all of the time too. Every picture you see was taken from my cell phone.

I do have the protection plan so for $50.00 I can have it replaced. So hopefully I can get to it soon!!! Jim & I just started texting each other and it was so much fun.

So for awhile my blog may be boring but I will continue to write updates for you all to read!!

By the way, I am accepting donations toward the "Cell Phone Foundation"!!! LoL No, not really. I'm just joking!!
