I LOVE Famous Hair!!!

I went yesterday to get my hair cut and colored again, for free!!! You see, if you sign up to be a model they will call you when they hire a new person and you can get your hair done for free and leave with some great products.

This time I got a lot of blonde put on the top and a nice rich brown on the bottom and thy cut some new layers in so you can actually see the brown. I have a picture but really it doesn't do it justice. It turned out great!!! I also left with a bottle of Root Lifter, which works miracles and Color Care Shampoo & Conditioner. Yay!!!

Yea, that's right, it's a REAL post, not just advertising, which come to think of I should be getting paid for that!!!

So, I finally joined Twitter. A lot of blogs I read already twit to I finally too the plunge. This is a website dedicated to one-liners, instead of a whole blog. All you do is type a one-liner about whats going on and you can keep all your twitter friends updated on your life. You can also set it up so you receive alerts as text messages to your phone and you can also send alerts as text from you phone.

The only downfall to getting them to your phone is that your friend in California doesn't know that you are fast asleep in your bed when she is still twittering!!! No really, it's fun!!

Jim has been painting the inside of our house and let me tell you, Paint fumes STINK!!! I hope no one actually gets sick from it.

For those of you who do not know, my son Nicolas LOVES the movie Wall-E. He will sit and watch the entire movie uninterrupted. So when I was at Wal-Mart I found a Wall-E comforter on clearance and i got it for him. He LOVED it!!!! And it's so cute to listen to him say Wall-E over and over again.

We told the girls we would take them out to get them something special this week-end, they want sleeping bags. So we'll see.

North Dakota Passes Abortion Law

North Dakota's House of Representatives has passed a bill effectively outlawing abortion.


The House voted 51-41 this afternoon to declare that a fertilized egg has all the rights of any person.

That means a fetus could not be legally aborted without the procedure being considered murder.


Woo Hoo, Go ND!! Hopefully some other states will follow suit!!

I used a "Mint Julep Masque" by "Queen Helene" from Walgreens. It cost around $3.oo a bottle.

These things are AMAZING!!! I do not have awful skin but I could definitely use some help in that area. My face brakes out about once a month and I also have red patches throughout.

I decided to try a mask and I love it. Just after one use I saw an amazing difference. My skin is tighter, healthier looking and it is VERY smooth.

If you have never tried one, you should!!

Also if any of you out there have any beauty tips for the face please feel free to share. I don't like feeling like I have to wear foundation all the time to get an even tone. Actually I would LOVE to leave the house with no make-up on, so if you have any beauty secrets, now is the time to share them!!!

Well I went to my neurologists today for my long awaited appointment for my chronic migraines. I found out that my iron and folic acid are low so that causes me to very tired and then that triggers the headaches. So he wants me to take some over the counter serum to boost that and a folic acid pill. Oh yea, and cut out caffeine. Ha, like that will ever happen. tell a girl who is chronically tired to cut caffeine and someone may just get hurt;) Don't worry I was honest with him and I said that I would follow his little devious plan, minus cutting my caffeine:)

On another note he said my potassium was very high. Now that could be a huge problem. It can cause heart irregularities. So I have to get it checked again to make sure it wasn't high just that day and if it's high again, I need to see my primary doctor and find out why. ASAP

He also said that people with high potassium cannot take really any medications, in fear of having a heart attack or stroke, so for future headaches, sick to 2 extra strength Tylenol & 2 Alieves.

So after 2 months of waiting to see him, I am basically still going to have migraines. Yay!! *Very Sarcasticily said*

Anybody have any tips, I am ALL ears!!!

Mail Days May Need To Be Cut

WASHINGTON – Massive deficits could force the post office to cut out one day of mail delivery, the postmaster general told Congress on Wednesday, in asking lawmakers to lift the requirement that the agency deliver mail six days a week.

Please pray that this does not go through. If it does my husbands job will probably be cut. He is a sub for the United States Post Office, so if they go down to 5 days a week, they wouldn't need subs anymore. The reason they have subs is to give the regular mail carriers a day off, so my husband is only guaranteed 1 day a week. He usually gets more due to sickness and people just taking off.

Anyway, I just read this and I didn't like it too much:(

I was recently introduced to a charter school called The Edge Academy. I am looking for any insight about the difference between a charter school verses a public school. Or if anyone has any info on this particular school would be great.

I have been soooo busy.............

.........................Doing NOTHING!!!! no i'm just kiddin, but I was just thinking how I haven't been posting that much.

I have been kinda busy with the kids. I started Rebekah in homeschooling again and it's not as hard as it was before. I am still greatly praying and considering putting her in "school" next year.

I have been busy with my diet and exercise



They say dieting is one of the biggest eating disorders there are and i believe it!!! When you are dieting" you obsess over it, at least I do. You count, measure, cut up, use smaller plates. I could on and on. Anyway feel free to check out my weight loss blog and see my ups and downs;)

I was pretty sick for about almost two weeks!! I was dealing with major migraine issues, that went through out my head neck and shoulders. I am finally feeling better.

Oh, an update on Jeff, He is at home now recovering. He still has a pretty hard time getting around. His incision is huge and long. It goes all the way down his stomach. And they did not use stiches or staples to hold it together. Actually I have no idea what is holding it together.

My First Pair Of Wedge Heels

I used to LOVE wearing high heel shoes but since having babies and back problems it has been flats for me............................Until.......................I tried on a wedged heel. This is NOTHING like a high heel. it is actually comfortable and very easy to walk in.

This is my very first pair and definitely not my last. Kuddos to the inventor of wedges!!!! :)
